Start your day with a gentle awakening of your body and mind, moving on to more powerful postures to get your digestive system warmed up. Improve flexibility and strengthen your muscles and joints.

In Chinese Medicine, each organ has a specific time of day when it is most active. Digestive organs are best functioning between 7 am and 11 am. Let's get these activated and follow with a nutritionally healthy breakfast!

Evening yoga class is focused on releasing emotional, as well as physical tension accumulated during the day, especially in shoulders, neck, back and hips.

Breathing exercises, focus on balancing chakras (your energy centres) and short deep meditation are also incorporated to get you ready for a restful recovering sleep.

Yin Yoga - every other Friday

Yin yoga, incorporating principles of Chinese Medicine, consists of holding yoga postures (asanas) for a longer period of time, for up to five minutes or more. This helps to balance internal organs and the flow of energy called Qi or prana.  Yin yoga also targets deep connective tissue, such as ligaments, bones and deep fascia networks. By 'starving' the connective tissue of nutrients during the longer held postures, a rebound of fresh blood and nutrients gets activated when the postures are released, improving joint mobility and flexibility.
